The REEP Way
At REEP, giving back isn’t a department or an initiative that runs once a year. It’s how the company operates because our founders, Jacob and Arleen Garza, built it that way from the start. Across our San Antonio, Austin and Houston communities, REEP employees, residents, and leadership show up together throughout the year: collecting school supplies, stocking food drives, sponsoring families through the holidays, and mentoring young adults who need someone in their corner.
We’re a property management company. But the properties we manage are communities and we take that seriously.

Supporting Communities
Stuff The Bus
Each year, REEP teams collect school supplies across our communities to send local kids back to school with what they need. Employees, residents, and on-site staff contribute — and the buses fill fast.
Adopt a Family
Every Thanksgiving and holiday season, REEP employees adopt local families purchasing gifts, meals, and daily essentials for families who need a little extra support during the hardest months of the year.
Food Drives
Throughout the year, REEP properties serve as collection sites for non-perishable donations, channeled directly to local food banks and community organizations serving the neighborhoods we operate in.
Share the Love
Every February, REEP runs a company-wide initiative collecting essential items from employees and residents across all REEP properties, personal care items, household basics, and everyday supplies for foster youth in the THRU Project program.

The Garza Family Foundation supports
the THRU Project San Antonio
REEP has built something rare in the property management world: a company where giving back is what we do.
Jacob and Arleen Garza personally donated $100,000 to THRU Project, a San Antonio organization that supports foster youth as they age out of the system and begin building independent lives. REEP took that commitment a step further by opening its own doors: today, 9 young adults live in REEP-owned and managed properties, giving them stable, safe housing at a moment in life when stability is hard to come by.
The support doesn’t stop at housing. REEP employees regularly volunteer as mentors for THRU Project youth, and the company shows up throughout the year at THRU’s signature events: Fairway to the Future, the Annual Gala, and the Pickleball & Pesos fundraiser. Every February, the company-wide Share the Love initiative collects daily essentials from employees and residents across every REEP community — channeled directly to foster youth in the program.
What makes this work is how many people across the company are involved. This isn’t one department or one donation. It’s leadership setting the tone, employees giving their time, and residents pitching in too.
