At Reep Residential, we work hard — and we celebrate harder. 

On Saturday, April 11th, we’re closed out the week the Reep way: gathering our entire team from San Antonio, Houston, and Austin — along with their families — for our annual Company Picnic at Shady Oaks Ranch in Schertz, Texas. It’s one of our favorite days of the year, and for good reason. 

What Makes This Day Special 

The Reep Company Picnic isn’t just a party. It’s a reflection of who we are as a company — a team that genuinely enjoys being around each other, that celebrates the wins, and that believes the people behind the work deserve to be recognized and appreciated. 

The annual picnic is one of the clearest expressions of our culture. It’s the kind of day where a property manager from Houston meets a leasing agent from Austin, where kids make friends and play around while their parents put their phones down, and where the whole Reep family gets to be together. 

Giving Recognition Where It’s Due 

Some moments at a company event go beyond the fun and the food — and this year’s picnic had two of them. 

We recognized Franklin Lopez Serrano Make Ready at  Archer at Willowbrook, who recently suffered a devastating loss when a fire destroyed his home and vehicle. As a team, we came together to present Franklin with a gift to help him through this incredibly difficult time. Because the Reep family doesn’t just show up for the good days — we show up for each other when it matters most. Franklin, we love you and we’ve got you. 

We also celebrated Raul Menchaca, Floating Maintenance Supervisor, the recipient of this year’s Reep Lift and Lead Innovation Award. This award recognizes a team member who consistently thinks outside the box, goes above and beyond their role, finds creative solutions, streamlines operations, and makes the entire organization better in the process. Raul has done all of that and more — and this recognition is a small reflection of the big impact he’s made. Congratulations, Raul! 🏆
